Zadni Mnich is a distinctive, slender peak in the main ridge of the High Tatras, located directly adjacent to Cubryna. The history of its ascent dates back to 1904, when Janusz Chmielowski and the legendary guide Klemens Bachleda made the first ascent. This place is characterized by its difficult accessibility and unique, spire-like silhouette, making it a prestigious goal exclusively for experienced mountaineers. Due to its exposed location above the Rybiego Potoku Valley, it is considered one of the most recognizable landmarks in the area of Morskie Oko.
