Miedziane is a sprawling massif in the High Tatras, located between the Valley of the Five Polish Lakes and the Valley of Rybiego Potoku. The name of the peak comes from the mining operations that took place here in the 18th century, during which copper ore was searched for and extracted. This area is distinguished by its exceptionally rich alpine flora and the presence of rare plant species, which led to its inclusion in a strict nature reserve. Despite the lack of marked hiking trails leading directly to the summit, the mountain is a key element of the landscape viewed from popular trails in the area around Morskie Oko. The massif has long been considered one of the most magnificent viewpoints, offering a unique perspective on the highest rock formations in the Tatras.
