Muczne is a picturesque village in the Bieszczady Mountains, located at the foot of the Tarnica Range. It serves as an excellent base for exploring trails leading to, among other places, Bukowe Berdo and the highest peaks in the region. In the 1970s, the village gained fame as an exclusive, private hunting resort for dignitaries of the Polish People’s Republic, which gave it a unique and somewhat mysterious historical character. Today, its main tourist attraction is a bison enclosure, allowing visitors to observe these animals in conditions close to their natural habitat. The village is distinguished by its exceptional tranquility and its location in the heart of the wilderness, far from the main centers of commercial tourism.
