The Goprowska Pass is a distinct depression at an altitude of 1160 meters above sea level in the Tarnica Group, separating the highest peak of the Bieszczady Mountains from the Krzemień massif. Its name comes from the seasonal mountain rescue station that used to operate here; today, this location is a key junction of hiking trails, including the Main Beskid Trail. The pass attracts tourists with its unique panoramic views of the Bieszczady ridges and access to a nearby water source, making it one of the most popular stopping points on the way to Tarnica.
