The Tarnica group is the highest massif in the Polish part of the Bieszczady Mountains, with its central peak reaching 1346 meters above sea level. This area is characterized by a more rugged landscape and rocky slopes near the summit, which clearly distinguishes it from the gentler mountain meadows. Hiking through Halicz and Rozsypaniec in this region is considered one of the most scenic routes in the entire Beskid Mountains.
