The idea for the organ installation came from Władysław Hasior, one of the most intriguing Polish artists of the 20th century. The installation was created in 1966 on the Snozka pass, in the mountain range connecting the Gorce and Pieniny mountains. However, the organ never played, probably because the appropriate organ pipes were not installed.
