Luban is one of the characteristic peaks of the region, reaching a height of about 1,225 metres above sea level, which makes it one of the most important viewpoints in the region.Luban has two summits: the eastern summit, overgrown with forest, and the western summit, famous for its extensive panoramas. A clearing called Lubań Peak stretches between the two summits. Lubań has been popular for a long time, since as early as 1860 visitors from Štiavnica used to go up to the peak in peasant carts.

Being on Lubań, the viewing tower with a unique view of Lake Czorsztyńskie and the Tatra Mountains is a must-see attraction.

Trail through the forest
Most of the time the trail leads through the forest, but the summit gets a lot of sunshine. In summer, sunscreen will come in handy.

The route can be started from Krościenko (the furthest), Ochotnica Dolna, Grywałd, Tylmanowa or Kluszkowiec (the shortest).
