Lake Czorsztyńskie was created by building a dam in Niedzica between the Pieniny Spiskie and Pieniny Właściwe. It is 9 km long and on average 1.3 km wide. Its most important function is flood protection for the Dunajec valley, by storing excess water during floods.
Scenic cruise
Around the reservoir there is a regular boat "Harnaś", which takes tourists on a sightseeing tour with educational value.

Two locks
The Czorsztyn castle and the "Dunajec" castle are located on the lake. The "Dunajec" ship and the "Halny" ship, regularly sail between them.

Between the mountains
The lake is surrounded by the Gorce Mountains to the north, the Pieniny Proper to the east and the Pieniny Spiskie Mountains to the south.

Velo Dunajec
The reservoir can be circumnavigated by bicycle, with the Velo Dunajec route running along its banks.
