The Lubań Range is an isolated mountain massif in the Pieniny Mountains, in the Gorce Mountains. The range is named after the peak Lubań with a height of 1211. The length of the range is 20 km, the width reaches 10 km. It is built of Magura sandstone, the slopes are covered with coniferous and mixed forests, from which numerous streams flow. The range is also crossed by numerous hiking trails, the most frequented of which is the Main Beskid Trail.

Views from the observation tower
From the tower at the top of the mountain, you can observe the Gorce Mountains, the Pieniny Mountains, Lake Czorsztyńskie, Magura Spišská or the Tatra Mountains.

A few words about the Main Beskydy Route
It is the longest trail in the Polish mountains, with a length of about 496 km. Its history dates back to the inter-war period, and its part running through Lubań is located in the Gorce region.

Student Tent Base Lubañ
It is located at an altitude of 1,200 metres above sea level and is one of the oldest student tent bases. It is open during the summer months, usually between 26 and 30 August.
