Dolinka pod Kołem is a rugged, high-mountain offshoot of the Dolina Pięciu Stawów Polskich valley, situated at the foot of the majestic Świnica and Zawratowa Turnia peaks. This former pastoral area, once part of the Hala Pięciu Stawów, is now a key stage for hikers heading towards the Zawrat pass, which serves as the starting point for the legendary Orla Perć trail. The area is characterized by its unique landscape, dominated by imposing rock screes and granite blocks, offering tourists direct contact with the wildest nature of the High Tatras. Thanks to its location, the valley provides spectacular views of the surrounding peaks, making it one of the most picturesque and significant spots on the map of the Polish mountains.
