Chochołowska Valley is the largest and longest valley in the Polish Western Tatras, covering an area of over 35 km². This place is famous for its rich history of shepherding and mining, as well as its unique natural beauty, including the spectacular blooming of crocuses, which attracts large crowds of tourists every spring. Thanks to its gentle terrain, it is an ideal destination for hiking and cycling trips, and the mountain hut located in Chochołowska Meadow was one of Karol Wojtyła’s favorite places to relax.
