Before the creation of the reserve in 1963, the area of the gorge had been used commercially since the time of Bolesław Chrobry. Just beyond the entrance to the reserve, on the left, is a rock called Czubata. On the south side of the stream is the large cliff of Smolegowa Rock, built of limestone.

Mass of attractions
Not far from the reserve, there is a stud farm offering horse rides in the surrounding area. From the White Water, you can also set off on bicycles to Obidza or Piwniczna-Zdrój, or go on foot to the highest peak of Beskid Sądecki - Radziejowa.

The White Water Reserve is one of the most valuable natural areas in the Jizera Mountains. It is characterised by biodiversity and unique ecosystems, including marshes, peat bogs and mixed forests.

The main attraction of the reserve is the impressive White Waterfall, which reaches a height of around 16 metres. It is one of the highest natural beauties in the Jizera Mountains, attracting numerous people interested in nature and landscape tourism.
