The Church of the Protection of Our Lady in Szlachtowa is a historic temple, built between 1895 and 1920 as a Greek Catholic church and now used by the Roman Catholic Church. It is located in the picturesque village of Szlachtowa, impressing with its architecture based on a Greek cross plan with a round dome. On the outside, the building is made of sandstone and decorated with interesting architectural elements, such as the "Good Shepherd" mosaic.

Construction and Problems
Construction of the church took many years due to high costs and historical turmoil. In 1907, the central dome collapsed, delaying the completion of the building.

Conversion and use
After 1946, the church was taken over by the Roman Catholic Church and has since served as the parish church of Our Lady of Grace.

The exterior and interior decorations, including an iconostasis in line with the canons of the Lviv school and frescoes dating from 1919, are unique architectural elements of this historic church.
