Gąsienicowa Clearing is a key junction of trails in the High Tatras, located in the northern part of Gąsienicowa Valley. In the past, it was an important pastoral center belonging to the Gąsienica family, and today it is home to the popular “Murowaniec” mountain hut. This place serves as an excellent base for expeditions to high-mountain peaks and passes, while also offering unique scenic views. The clearing also houses a meteorological station and a base for mountaineers and skiers.
