Czertezik is a long and narrow peak that borders Czerteż (774 m) to the west and a pass leading to Sokolica to the southeast. Its southern slope is steep and rocky in places. It descends towards the Dunajec River and the deep valley of the Pieniński Potok stream, which separates the Pieninki mountains from the Trzy Korony massif.

  • View of the Dunajec River

The terrace at Czertezik offers a unique view, providing a direct perspective of the Dunajec River as it winds its way just before the summit.

  • Close to Sokolica

If you are hiking the trail from Trzy Korony to Sokolica and pass Czertezik, know that you are almost there!

  • A scenic trail

Not for those with a fear of heights! Near Czertezik, the trail towards Trzy Korony splits into a side trail and a trail that runs along exposed cliffs.
