The BdPN Tourist Shelter “Chatka Puchatka” is the highest-situated building in the Bieszczady Mountains, located at an altitude of 1228 meters above sea level, near the summit of Hasiakowa Skała. Originally serving as a military observation post, the shelter has become an iconic place thanks to the many years of activity of Lutek Pińczuk and a major renovation completed in 2022. It now offers tourists modern facilities and some of the most beautiful panoramic views in the entire Eastern Beskid Mountains. It is a must-see stop on the route through Połonina Wetlińska, combining a unique history with the educational role of the national park.
