Połonina Wetlińska is one of the most popular and scenic mountain ranges in the Bieszczady Mountains, characterized by vast alpine meadows (połoninas) and its highest peak, Rohem (1255 m above sea level). This place is famous for the legendary “Chatka Puchatka” mountain hut (now a modern tourist facility) and its rich history, which includes the traditional grazing of cattle by the Boyko people and battles from World War I. Tourists are attracted here by relatively easy trails, including a section of the Main Beskid Trail, and unique panoramas that, with good visibility, allow you to see even the Tatra Mountains.
