Wysoki Wierch is located in the ridge of the Pieniny Małe, directly south of Jarmuta, above the Leśnicki Potok valley. It offers some of the most beautiful views of the Three Crowns Massif, the Tatra Mountains, the Gorce Mountains, the Beskid Wyspowy, the Beskid Sądecki and the nearby Golica group.
Steep entrance
The final approach is quite steep. Remember to wear good footwear.
Sunshine
The area around the High Peak is mainly forestless; sunscreen may come in handy.
Skitouring
If winter is good, skitouring is possible in the area of Wysokie Wierch and Durbaszka.
Shepherd's hut
Below the summit is a shepherd's hut with a herd of sheep and cows - if you want to taste real Pieniny cheese or bundz, there's hardly a better place!
