Kuźnice is a district of Zakopane located in the Bystra stream valley, which in the 19th century was a thriving metallurgical center owned by the Homolacs family. Today, it is one of the most important tourist hubs in the Tatra Mountains, serving as the lower station of the cable car to Kasprowy Wierch and the starting point for numerous hiking trails, including those leading to Giewont and Hala Gąsienicowa. The unique character of this place is enhanced by the revitalized manor and park complex, which houses the headquarters of the Tatra National Park and hosts numerous historical exhibitions.
