The PTTK mountain hut on Maciejowa, opened in 1977, is a wooden tourist station located in the western part of the Gorce mountains, on a picturesque meadow beneath the peak of Maciejowa. The hut was built as part of an initiative to create small facilities for specialized tourism and is known for one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the Tatra Mountains and Babia Góra. Thanks to its easy access from Rabka-Zdrój and its location on the Main Beskid Trail, it is a particularly attractive and popular destination, attracting tourists with its intimate atmosphere and traditional architecture.
