The Gorce PN covers the central Gorce range, including the Turbacz and Gorce massifs. It is a sanctuary for more than 1,500 species of plants, and more than 150 species of vertebrates. The national park is famous for its vast forests, Gorce glades and beautiful views of the Tatra Mountains, Lake Czorsztyńskie and the Pieniny Mountains.
