The Border Ridge is the longest ridge in the region, stretching in a winding line from Łupkowa Pass to Użocka Pass. Unlike the popular alpine meadows, this area is almost entirely forested and offers hikers much greater peace and quiet along the trail. Hiking along this ridge allows for close contact with the wild nature of the border region and the opportunity to visit unique points where neighboring countries meet.
The meeting point of three borders
At the top of Kremenaros, there is a point where the borders of Poland, Slovakia, and Ukraine meet, marked by a distinctive obelisk.
Wielka Rawka
The highest point of this mountain range is Wielka Rawka (1307 m above sea level), which offers one of the best panoramic views of the entire High Bieszczady mountains.
The blue trail
A long-distance blue border trail runs through most of the mountain range; it was previously used mainly by border patrol services to patrol the area.
