The so-called Szczawnica Church was built between 1882 and 1892 using Pieniny sandstone and brick. It is a Neo-Gothic church, plastered and covered with sheet metal, with a single nave, two chapels that resemble transepts, a narrower presbytery than the main body, and a tower at the front.
Lesser Horseshoe Bat
A species of bat, the Lesser Horseshoe Bat, lives in the church’s attic.
The British Bell
The church tower has two bells – one of them was cast in 1860 in Sheffield, Great Britain.
