Bryjarka is an unexcelled peak in the Beskid Sądecki towering over Szczawnica. It is unique because, although it belongs to the Radziejowa Range, in its upper part there are debris flows of rare magma rocks - the light grey Pieniny andesites.

Quarry
The rocks present at Bryjarka have long been of scientific interest. They were described as early as 1832. In the years between the two World Wars, they were exploited in a quarry that is no longer in use.

Giewont Cross
A wooden cross had stood on the summit since the 19th century, but it broke during a storm in 1902. It was then that Józef Górecki's company from Krakow, the same one that made the cross on Giewont, made and installed an iron cross.
